6 Days Kilimanjaro Climb – Machame Route
Arrival Day: Our packages include airport transfer services hence we will meet you and drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to your hotel in Moshi and rest for a while. Afterward, you will meet your guide for gear checking and briefing about the mountain. Also, your guide will go through your group camping gear and demonstrate the use and operation of all equipment, especially emergency oxygen cylinder and pulse ox meter and explain signs and symptoms of various mountain sicknesses which might happen while trekking.
Machame route 6days Climb: Day by Day itinerary
Day 1: Hike to Machame Camp
The drive from Moshi to the Mount Kilimanjaro National Park Gate takes about 50 minutes. The journey passes through the village of Machame which is located on the lower slopes of the mountain. You leave the park gate and walk through the rain forest on a winding trail up a ridge. Lower down, the trail can be muddy and slippery. Gaiters and trekking poles are a good idea here. You will continue a short distance until you reach the Machame Camp.

Day 2: Hike to Shira cave Camp
After breakfast, you will leave the glades of the rain forest and continue on an ascending path, crossing the little valley walking along a steep rocky ridge, covered with heather until the ridge ends. The route now turns west onto a river gorge. Time for rest, dinner, and overnight at the Shira campsite.

Day 3: Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
From the Shira Plateau, you will continue to the east up a ridge, passing the junction towards the peak of Kibo. As you continue, your direction changes to the South East towards the Lava Tower (4600m), called the “Shark’s Tooth.” Shortly after the tower, you will enjoy your lunch and break for acclimatization.
You will continue down to the Barranco Hut at an altitude of 3940m. Here you will rest, enjoy dinner, and overnight. Although you end the day at the almost same elevation as when you started, this day is very important for acclimatization and will help your body prepare for summit day.

Day 4: Barafu Camp via Karanga Camp
After breakfast, you will leave Barranco and continue on a steep ridge passing the Barranco Wall, to the Karanga Valley last water point before arrive at campsite. Then you will stay for few minutes at Karanga camp for acclimatization and enjoying your hot lunch before leave Karanga and hit the junction which connects with the Mweka Trail. You will continue up to the Barafu Hut.
At this point, you have completed the South Circuit, which offers views of the summit from many different angles. Here you can make camp, rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the summit day. The two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo are to be seen from this position.

Day 5: To Summit and descend to Mweka Hut
You will wake up around 11:00pm, for some tea and snacks,dress up warm for the summit. You will start your summit around 12:00am starting with steep rocks for about two to three hours, and then you will start crossing the zigzag area and keep moving to the crater rim and finally Stella point, 5756 meters around 06:00am.
At Stella Point (5756m), you will stop for a short rest and will be rewarded with the most magnificent sunrise you are ever likely to see (weather permitting). From Stella Point, you may encounter snow all the way on your one-hour ascent to the summit. At Uhuru Peak (5895m), you have reached the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the continent of Africa. Faster hikers will see the sunrise from the summit.
From the summit, you will now make your descent continuing straight down to the Mweka Hut camp site, stopping at Barafu for brunch. You will want gaiters and trekking poles for the loose gravel going down. Mweka Camp is situated in the upper forest and mist or rain can be expected in the late afternoon. Later in the evening, you will enjoy your last dinner on the mountain and a well-earned sleep.

From the gate you will sign out in Kilimanjaro national park log book and your guide will collect your certificate for those who reached the summit and let you enjoy your lunch before get to our minibus and drive to your hotel in Moshi for hot shower and beer

After having your early breakfast depart at 7.30am and drive direct to the World famous Serengeti National park through the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Serengeti is arguably the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. It is the home of millions of large mammals, including what is so-called the Big 5: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and the rarely seen black rhinoceros. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded in the area, including eagles, bustards, owls, cranes, herons, vultures, and secretary birds. It is here where the world’s great migration is observed. Some of Africa’s biggest crocodile lie in wait in Serengeti rivers.

DAY 2: Serengeti National Park | Full Day Game viewing.
After breakfast collect your packed lunch and depart for full day game viewing in the Serengeti; you may also opt to go for early morning game viewing and drive back to the lodge/ camp for breakfast and later proceed with game viewing.

DAY 3: Serengeti National Park | Ngorongoro Highland.
After breakfast, enjoy game viewing while heading to Naabi gate where you will check out and proceed to Ngorongoro Highland through the savannah plains. Explore the breeding ground for the Great Migration.
Depart the cool, grassy Serengeti National park and later arrive on through the endless plains, where large herds of wildebeest and zebra are found between December to March. Follow the great migration! It has been recorded that in the first 2 weeks of February more than 200,000 calves of wildebeest are born in the plains. This is the calving period. The Serengeti/ Ngorongoro ecosystem has become a household name largely due to film depictions of its migration. This day you have an option of visiting either Masai village or the Olduvai Gorge (some believe to be the cradle of mankind). Olduvai Gorge is the place where Dr. Louis Leakey and his wife Mary excavated remaining of Zinjanthropus and other ancient hominoid fossils.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater | Drive to Arusha.
Soon after early breakfast drive to the crater via the endless plains of the Serengeti. Enjoy your packed lunch as you descend down the Ngorongoro crater.
The Ngorongoro crater, which has been declared a world heritage site, lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area that covers more than 8000 sq.km With an area of 304 sq. km. the crater is the home of up to 30,000 large mammals. More than 100 species of birds not found in the Serengeti have been recorded here. This is the world’s largest unbroken caldera and the 8th wonder of the world. Tarangire is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular in June and September, the dry period. During this time, thousands of animals including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, elands, kudu, wildebeest, hartebeest, and the rarely seen Oryx, migrate from Masai Steppe to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lions, leopards and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire has the largest population of elephant in any park in the northern circuit and more than 550 species of birds have been recorded. 8 Days Kilimanjaro Climb – Lemosho Route
Day 3 to Moir hut 4200m: Today we will hike about 4-6 hours to cover the distance of 9km also we will cross the middle of Shira plateau a world heritage site to our picnic lunch at fishers point. After lunch we will walk for 1-2 hours hiking through moorland zone and arriving to our beautiful overnight camp located at the base of massive lava flow.
Day 4 to Baranco camp 3940m: Today we will keep walking in alpine desert for 9km about 6-8 hours, We will start by climbing over steep hills and very few rock, then steady uphill climb to Lava tower (150m high volcanic plug that juts out the side of the mountain) and stop for lunch around noon. From this point some people might start to feel mild headache due to altitude change. From lava tower we will descend about 2 hours through dust and rock trail to over night at Baranco camp.
Day 5 to Karanga camp 3995m: Today is short day for 4-6 hours to cover distance of 6km and we will start by scrambling up the great Baranco wall for about 1-2 hours. In this wall some section will be steep forcing you to use hands to reach and maneuver yourself around rock boulders like rock climbing, Although is not challenging as rock climbing. At the top of the wall you can see Baranco valley and the campsite you spend a night before also you will walk up and down to Karanga valley which is the last water point to the mountain and on top of the ridge it will be our campsite where we will have hot lunch and overnight.
Day 6 to Barafu camp 4673m: Today we will have another walking of 4km for 3-5 hours in steep uphill with a lot of boulders and shattered rock crossing upper alpine desert .We will go through a steep ridge until we reach a rocky section more scrambling for about an hour and half. Our next camp will be on large rocky with steep faces and we will have earlier dinner and sleep earlier because we have to wake up in the mid night for summit.
Day 7 to Summit to Uhuru (5895m) and descend to Mweka hut: We will wake up around 11:00pm have some tea and snacks dress up warm for the summit. We will start our summit around mid night by start with steep rocks for about 2-3 hours and then we will start crossing zigzag area and keep moving to crater rim and finally Stella point 5756m around 6am. At Stella point we will meet with other hikers from other route and join them heading to Uhuru peak and we will be able to see sun rise on our way or at the summit. Once we arrive at the summit we will stay for 10-15minutes for pictures and view then descend down via the same trail about 3 hours to Barafu camp for resting, brunch and descend to Mweka hut.
Day 8 Descend from Mweka hut to Mweka gate (1640m) and drive back to Moshi: Today after breakfast you will meet your Eastland adventures Kilimanjaro crew for group pictures and Kilimanjaro songs afterward we will start descending down via rain forest about 3-4 hours to cover the distance of 10km, Also if you will be lucky we can see blue monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys and other wildlife. At Mweka gate we will sign out in Kilimanjaro national park log book and our guide will collect certificate for those manage successful summit then drive to your hotel in Moshi for hot shower and Kilimanjaro beer.

6 Days safari – Northern Tanzania
Day 1: To Tarangire national park
Early today we will start driving from our hotel in Moshi/ Arusha to Tarangire national park for game drive until afternoon were we will break for the picnic lunch. After lunch we will continue with the game drive until evening and drive to our lodge/ campsite for dinner and overnight
Tarangire national park is referred as playground of Elephant but also known as home of Buffalo, Lions, Wildebeests, Zebra, and Gazelle in dry season. Also along the shore of lake Barungi attract a lot of mammals for water and various bird species like Kingfisher, Hoopoes and White Bellied bird, Tarangire noted for rolling Savannah, acacia woodland, and splendid baobab.
Day 2: To Serengeti national park
Today after breakfast we start long driving to Serengeti national park, we will break for picnic lunch at Naabi gate before enter to Serengeti national park and do evening game drive, Heading to our lodge/campsite at center of Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Full game drive at Serengeti national park
Today we have fully day in most beautiful park in the world after breakfast we will start our game drive and late afternoon we will stop for picnic lunch continue with game drive before back to our lodge/ campsite for diner and overnight.
Serengeti is really special sights, sound, and smell of Africa with stunning scenery, ever changing light and entertaining wildlife. In this park the animal don’t work to any schedule so we may find Lions, Leopard, Elephant, Zebra, Cheetah, Antelope, Gazelle, Hippos and many species of birds and reptiles during our game drive.
Day 4: To Ngorongoro crater rim/Karatu
For those who have booked for hot air Balloon safaris today you will be picked from Lodge/campsite at 5:00am for 6:00am departures. After your 90 minutes aerial adventure bush breakfast and champagne, you will continue with a short game drive back to our lodge/camp for brunch, pack your stuff and drive you to Ngorongoro crater rim/Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Full day game drive in Ngorongoro crater
Today after breakfast we will drive descending to Ngorongoro crater often referred to as wonder of world. You will do a game drive break for picnic lunch and late evening ascend from crater and drive to your lodge/campsite in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
This is World largest caldera fully of grassland, forest and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. The permanent water of crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Here you will find many of reason you chose to do Safaris in Tanzania. Lions, Water buck, Hippo Baboons, Black Rhino, leopard, Hyena, Jackal, Buffalo, Warthog, Gazelle and many more are shelter here.
Maasai are sharing the awesome space with animals, their cattle in an area which has been a separate conservation area since 1956 and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1978. This harmonious co-habitation of Man and beast makes Ngorongoro unique in the world.
Day 6: To lake Eyasi and drive back to Moshi/Arusha
Today early in the morning we will start driving to lake Eyasi to visit Hadzabe and Datoga tribe and join them in their daily activities.
Hadzabe Tribe
Take a journey into the “Gods must be crazy” movie. The Hadzabe tribe of Tanzania is the last true nomads of Africa, this tribe is one of the earliest humans’ inhabitants of Ngorongoro area, they believed to have lived in the area over 10,000 years and currently live near Lake Eyasi, they speak click language and they are not warrior tribes. You will join the men as they hunt for their daily subsidence using traditional bow and arrows, or join the women as they forage for fruits and berries. This is not a show or a “tourist put on”. This is the real true African cultural experience.
Datoga Tribe
Visiting the Datoga tribe will complete your cultural experience at Lake Eyasi. The Datoga are skilled farmers and craftsman. You will visit their habitat, and experience their culture first hand. Be prepared for the experience of a lifetime.
In the mid day after all enjoyment and excitement we will drive you back to your hotel in Arusha/ Moshi for dinner and overnight
6 Days safari – Northern Tanzania
Day 1: To Tarangire national park
Early today we will start driving from our hotel in Moshi/ Arusha to Tarangire national park for game drive until afternoon were we will break for the picnic lunch. After lunch we will continue with the game drive until evening and drive to our lodge/ campsite for dinner and overnight
Tarangire national park is referred as playground of Elephant but also known as home of Buffalo, Lions, Wildebeests, Zebra, and Gazelle in dry season. Also along the shore of lake Barungi attract a lot of mammals for water and various bird species like Kingfisher, Hoopoes and White Bellied bird, Tarangire noted for rolling Savannah, acacia woodland, and splendid baobab.
Day 2: To Serengeti national park
Today after breakfast we start long driving to Serengeti national park, we will break for picnic lunch at Naabi gate before enter to Serengeti national park and do evening game drive, Heading to our lodge/campsite at center of Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Full game drive at Serengeti national park
Today we have fully day in most beautiful park in the world after breakfast we will start our game drive and late afternoon we will stop for picnic lunch continue with game drive before back to our lodge/ campsite for diner and overnight.
Serengeti is really special sights, sound, and smell of Africa with stunning scenery, ever changing light and entertaining wildlife. In this park the animal don’t work to any schedule so we may find Lions, Leopard, Elephant, Zebra, Cheetah, Antelope, Gazelle, Hippos and many species of birds and reptiles during our game drive.

8 Days Kilimanjaro Climb – Lemosho Route
Day 7 to Summit to Uhuru (5895m) and descend to Mweka hut: We will wake up around 11:00pm have some tea and snacks dress up warm for the summit. We will start our summit around mid night by start with steep rocks for about 2-3 hours and then we will start crossing zigzag area and keep moving to crater rim and finally Stella point 5756m around 6am. At Stella point we will meet with other hikers from other route and join them heading to Uhuru peak and we will be able to see sun rise on our way or at the summit. Once we arrive at the summit we will stay for 10-15minutes for pictures and view then descend down via the same trail about 3 hours to Barafu camp for resting, brunch and descend to Mweka hut.
Day 8 Descend from Mweka hut to Mweka gate (1640m) and drive back to Moshi: Today after breakfast you will meet your Eastland adventures Kilimanjaro crew for group pictures and Kilimanjaro songs afterward we will start descending down via rain forest about 3-4 hours to cover the distance of 10km, Also if you will be lucky we can see blue monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys and other wildlife. At Mweka gate we will sign out in Kilimanjaro national park log book and our guide will collect certificate for those manage successful summit then drive to your hotel in Moshi for hot shower and Kilimanjaro beer.
