On this trip, we enjoy a whole week in which to explore some of Tanzania’s amazing natural wonders. This exciting safari concentrates to a large extent on the Great Migration as it spends its time in Central Serengeti. In October, this is where we’ll find huge numbers of herd animals such as wildebeest and zebra, as the world’s biggest animal movement seeks grazing terrain. Of course, Nature and rainfall determine the exact route and timings of the animals’ movement, so our daily schedule will be adjusted if necessary to ensure that we see the animals at their very best, at their most numerous.
From our starting-point in Moshi, our spectacular adventure takes us first to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population and its landscape of distinctive baobab trees. We then drive to our next destination, Central Serengeti, where we enjoy two whole days marveling at Tanzania’s outstanding wildlife. Each day will bring something new, all explained to you by your expert driver-guide. The Great Migration is often the highlight of people’s lives, never mind the highlight of their safari! After absorbing all the excitement that Serengeti’s wildlife can provide, we head back south, changing scenery to visit stunning Ngorongoro crater, another incredible but totally different venue for the breathtaking animals of Tanzania. After our Kili hike, we chose to run in the Moshi marathon. Then, we departed on Safari for 4 days. MINDS BLOWN!!! Our driver Raymond was amazing! The roads to and from the national parks are CHALLENGING, and those within the park even more so. Be prepared for lots of bumps and mud, but the reward is MORE THAN WORTH IT!!! The Serengeti is never ending, and has more animals that you can even imagine. Ngorongoro is not to be missed either. Each and every detail was planned for us, which made it easier for us to really enjoy all that the country has to offer. DO NOT HESITATE to consider Eastland for your Tanzania adventure!!!
