Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our experienced safari experts, ready to greet and escort you to Moshi and your chosen hotel. He will introduce you to this wonderful town and country. After your long flight, you will be pleased to discover Moshi, in a distance, mountain Kilimanjaro can be seen on a clear day from your hotel.
Early today we will start driving from our hotel in Moshi to Tarangire national park for game drive until afternoon were we will break for the picnic lunch. After lunch we will continue with the game drive until evening and drive to our lodge for dinner and overnight Tarangire national park is referred as playground of Elephant but also known as home of Buffalo, Lions, Wildebeests, Zebra, and Gazelle in dry season. Also along the shore of lake Barungi attract a lot of mammals for water and various bird species like Kingfisher, Hoopoes and White Bellied bird, Tarangire noted for rolling Savannah, acacia woodland, and splendid baobab.
After breakfast, we collect our lunch boxes, and start our journey which takes us west and north, our exciting destination being a name familiar to everyone – the Serengeti! On the way, the sheer scale of the territory and the raw beauty of the landscapes reveal themselves and your driver-guide will help you to spot animals and birds. This is just a preview of things to come, for the Serengeti is home to what is possibly the world’s greatest gathering of wildlife. After enjoying a picnic lunch, you’ll be eager to pursue some more great wildlife-spotting opportunities in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set in the grasslands, savannahs, woods and mountain scenery, which creature will show itself next? These ‘endless plains’ are home to elephant, Buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, hippo and crocodile, the adventure has truly begun. At the evening after all exhausted and exhilarated, it’s time to drive you back to your chosen accommodation for dinner and to talk about the many fantastic experiences you’ve had today. You will take away enough memories to last a lifetime.
Continuing to focus on the Great Migration, our safari is now based for two whole days in the heart of the Serengeti, its central section. Beautiful Serengeti is, of course, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your experienced Safaris expert will be on constant lookout, too, for the dozens of animal and bird species that inhabit the terrain and will be delighted to explain the habits and habitats of the amazing creatures you encounter on the journey. His ‘eagle-eyes’ will find many species for you, some of which you may struggle to see without binoculars: perhaps he’ll find elephant, lions, buffalo, leopard or cheetah – just some of the many, many species you will surely encounter in this unforgettable location. You will be awestruck by the incredible beauty of this unsurpassable wilderness, truly unforgettable.
For those who have booked for hot air Balloon, at 5:00am you will be picked for 6:00am departures. After your 90 minutes aerial adventure bush breakfast and champagne, you will meet you safaris guide and continue with a short game drive back to your lodge for brunch, pack your stuff and we will drive you to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Today after breakfast we will drive descending to Ngorongoro crater often referred to as wonder of world. You will do a game drive break for picnic lunch and late evening ascend from crater and drive to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight. This is World largest caldera fully of grassland, forest and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. The permanent water of crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Here you will find many of reason you chose to do Safaris in Tanzania. Lions, Waterbuck, Hippo Baboons, Black Rhino, leopard, Hyena, Jackal, Buffalo, Warthog, Gazelle and many more are shelter here. Maasai are sharing the awesome space with animals, their cattle in an area which has been a separate conservation area since 1956 and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1978. This harmonious co-habitation of Man and beast makes Ngorongoro unique in the world.

Lemosho route is one of the best routes for acclimatization. The route is less used and a beautiful way up to the Shira Plateau. The route is one of the few where groups may be accompanied on the first day by an armed ranger, as the forests around the Lemosho Glades are inhabited by buffalo, elephant and other wildlife. The minimum duration for the Lemosho route is 6 days, however we strongly recommend hiking the route in 7 days. The additional 7th day will give your body more time to acclimatize, reducing the effects of altitude sickness and give you more time to rest before attempting the summit.

After our Kili hike, we chose to run in the Moshi marathon. Then, we departed on Safari for 4 days. MINDS BLOWN!!! Our driver Raymond was amazing! The roads to and from the national parks are CHALLENGING, and those within the park even more so. Be prepared for lots of bumps and mud, but the reward is MORE THAN WORTH IT!!! The Serengeti is never ending, and has more animals that you can even imagine. Ngorongoro is not to be missed either.
