Upon your arrival, the Eastland Adventures and Safaris team will warmly welcome you at the airport. Our professional guides will be there to greet you with a smile, ready to assist with your luggage and ensure a smooth transfer. You’ll be escorted in comfort to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. Whether you’re visiting for a safari adventure or a peaceful retreat, our team is dedicated to making your arrival as seamless and pleasant as possible. Pick up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. As you enter the national park, lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees begin to set the mood for what is waiting ahead. The game drive will go on till evening with a small break for picnic lunch. During the game drive watch out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons and the blue monkeys. Another spectacle of Lake Manyara National park is the tree climbing lions, however spotting them is a game of luck. In the right season, you can see the shoreline turning pink with millions of flamingos flocking there. Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.
On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descent at around 6:30 AM into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. This is the last leg of your safari, with a 4hr drive left to Arusha. You will be dropped off to your preferred location in Arusha by 6:00 PM in the evening. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your team.

Machame Route: It is the most popular route at mountain Kilimanjaro and it is located at the southern part of the mountain. This route is very scenic and it has gradual ascent. You can climb it in 6days, 7days or 8 days depend with your time and budget it is camping route and one of the two ‘whisky’ routes in Mount Kilimanjaro. Climbing Machame in 8 days is very comfortable, and it provides enough time for acclimatization. No camp is skipped, also you will have opportunity to explore crater and overnight at the highest camp in Kilimanjaro, the route follows the pattern of hiking to a high altitude during the day and sleeping at a lower altitude at night, despite of crater camp.
The drive to Machame gate is an about 45 minutes from Moshi and it crosses the cultivation zone. You can see numerous of villages, coffee and banana farms on your way to the gate. Once you arrive at the gate we do registration in Kilimanjaro national park log book, pay the entrance fee and get validly permit, after which hiking can start at 1800m/5905ft.

On this trip, we enjoy a whole week in which to explore some of Tanzania’s amazing natural wonders. This exciting safari concentrates to a large extent on the Great Migration as it spends its time in Central Serengeti. In October, this is where we’ll find huge numbers of herd animals such as wildebeest and zebra, as the world’s biggest animal movement seeks grazing terrain. Of course, Nature and rainfall determine the exact route and timings of the animals’ movement, so our daily schedule will be adjusted if necessary to ensure that we see the animals at their very best, at their most numerous.
From our starting-point in Moshi, our spectacular adventure takes us first to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population and its landscape of distinctive baobab trees. We then drive to our next destination, Central Serengeti, where we enjoy two whole days marveling at Tanzania’s outstanding wildlife. Each day will bring something new, all explained to you by your expert driver-guide. The Great Migration is often the highlight of people’s lives, never mind the highlight of their safari! After our Kili hike, we chose to run in the Moshi marathon. Then, we departed on Safari for 4 days. MINDS BLOWN!!! Our driver Raymond was amazing! The roads to and from the national parks are CHALLENGING, and those within the park even more so. Be prepared for lots of bumps and mud, but the reward is MORE THAN WORTH IT!!! The Serengeti is never ending, and has more animals that you can even imagine. Ngorongoro is not to be missed either. Each and every detail was planned for us, which made it easier for us to really enjoy all that the country has to offer. DO NOT HESITATE to consider Eastland for your Tanzania adventure!!!
