Upon your arrival, the Eastland Adventures and Safaris team will warmly welcome you at the airport. Our professional guides will be there to greet you with a smile, ready to assist with your luggage and ensure a smooth transfer. You’ll be escorted in comfort to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. Whether you’re visiting for a safari adventure or a peaceful retreat, our team is dedicated to making your arrival as seamless and pleasant as possible. Pick up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.
On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descent at around 6:30 AM into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. This is the last leg of your safari, with a 4hr drive left to Arusha. You will be dropped off to your preferred location in Arusha by 6:00 PM in the evening. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your team.

In this tour we will cover the 3 most popular destinations in Tanzania – Ndutu (2 nights), Central Serengeti (2 nights) and Ngorongoro Crater (1 night). Tour starts and ends at Arusha. Lemosho route is one of the best routes for acclimatization. The route is less used and a beautiful way up to the Shira Plateau. The route is one of the few where groups may be accompanied on the first day by an armed ranger, as the forests around the Lemosho Glades are inhabited by buffalo, elephant and other wildlife. The minimum duration for the Lemosho route is 6 days, however we strongly recommend hiking the route in 7 days. The additional 7th day will give your body more time to acclimatize, reducing the effects of altitude sickness and give you more time to rest before attempting the summit.

Abbiamo visitato i parchi Tarangire, NgoroNgoro e Serengeti Central e Nord. In particolare i campi tendati erano davvero di alto livello e gli autisti e le guide che ci hanno accompagnato (2 jeep con 2 autisti e 1 guida parlante italiano) veramente professionali, esperti e molto simpatici. Consigliatissimo per organizzare i vostri soggiorni in Tanzania!

Daniel (owner of the company) helped us plan the trip, he and the rest of the people involved were great to work with. Dilly was our guide and he was awesome! He was great to travel with, extremely knowledgeable, and accommodated whatever we needed. Dilly knows a bunch of other guides, which was very helpful. Each guide would let others where to find certain exotic animals if they came across them. We saw every animal we wanted to see (lions, hippos, elephants, monkeys, etc.) and saw a ton throughout the park. Highly recommend Eastland Adventures for a safari.

We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them and they were crucial to our success, helping us with whatever we needed. They even offered to carry our backpacks the night of the summit. We preferred supporting the local people and felt our experience with Erick and Charles was better than those who used larger international companies, from what we could see.
